MELENCOLIA ARTIFICIALIS

A series of dark nature photographs I took over the years turned into one-colored illustrations with an added frame to pay homage to 90s Black Metal aesthetics.‘Melencolia Artificialis’ means artist melancholy. It‘s a term used to describe an artist’s state of gloomy thoughtful but not depressive mood that evokes creativity.
